Bruce Trigger

Bruce Trigger, all'anagrafe Bruce Graham Trigger (Preston, 18 giugno 1937 – Montréal, 1º dicembre 2006), è stato un archeologo canadese.

Celebre autorità nel suo campo, deve la sua fama allo scritto Storia del pensiero archeologico (1989).^{[senza fonte]}

Biografia modifica

Trigger si laurea all'università di Toronto in antropologia e successivamente si trasferisce a Yale dove ottiene un dottorato di ricerca. Le sue ricerche lo hanno portato in Sudan e in Egitto, in particolare nella regione della Nubia.^[1]

È stato docente di archeologia ed etnostoria alla Università McGill di Montréal, in Canada.^[1]
