Darren Styles
Darren James Mew, meglio conosciuto come Darren Styles (Colchester, 1975), è un disc jockey e producer happy hardcore inglese.

Carriera musicale modifica
Incoraggiato sin dalla tenera età dal padre, appassionato di musica blues, Styles da sempre possedeva la passione per la musica, così da spendere gran parte del suo tempo per imparare a suonare la tastiera. Styles fece la sua prima apparizione nel panorama underground-rave nel febbraio 1992 a Clacton-on-Sea, nell'Essex, all'Oscars Nightclub.
Nel 1993, insieme al suo amico Paul Hobbs (DJ Force), fonda l'etichetta hardcore "Kniteforce Records", sotto il nome di Force + Evolution. Molte di queste canzoni sono campionate dal potente Carl Cox. Poco dopo la coppia ha prodotto per DJ Slipmatt's, per l'etichetta Universal, sotto il nome di Sense of Summer.
Dal 1996 Styles e Hobbs, Force & Styles, sono stati i Dj di ogni fine settimana per tutto il Regno Unito, ed in giro per Australia, Stati Uniti, Canada e Ibiza, oltre a partecipare allo 'Slammin Vinyl', 'Helter Skelter', e allo 'United Dance', per citarne qualcuno. Insieme fondarono il label "UK Dance" e pubblicarono il loro album All Over The UK.
Nel 1999 Darren si unisce con Mark Breeze, formando il duo Styles & Breeze.
Nel 2006 ha partecipato agli Hardcore Awards, vincendo gli oscar come Miglior Dj, Miglior Produttore, e col singolo Save me come singolo dell'anno. Styles Breeze e Hixxy hanno creato le compilation Clubland X-Treme Hardcore che hanno venduto oltre 450 000 copie in 3 volumi (senza considerare il quarto, il quinto ed il sesto volume, pubblicati rispettivamente nel dicembre 2007, nel dicembre 2008 e nel dicembre 2009).
Nel 2008 pubblica il suo primo album solista Skydivin.
Nel 2010 ha annunciato l'uscita del suo secondo album solista, Feel The Pressure
