English: Drawing of the holotype specimen, Iziko South African Museum (SAM) PK-1070, of the Permian amniote Heleosaurus scholtzi Broom 1907, counterpart blocks, with indication of skull bones (from Carroll, 1976, modified; follow source link below for bibliographical details on the original work). After this was done, the two drawings were re-arranged in a way that makes the fact, that the apparently two specimens are counterparts of each other, more obvious to the viewer..
