John Laband
scrittore e storico sudafricano
John Laband (Johannesburg, 18 marzo 1947) è uno storico e scrittore sudafricano, specializzato nelle guerre anglo-zulu e anglo-boere.
Biografia modifica
Ha insegnato storia per 42 anni in molte università sudafricane, inglesi e canadesi.[1][2][3] Ha pubblicato numerosi libri sulle guerre dell'Africa australe, specialmente la guerra anglo-zulu del 1879. John Paul Clow Laband è anche professore emerito e titolare della cattedra di storia dell'Università Wilfrid Laurier in Canada, nonché membro a vita del Clare Hall dell'Università di Cambridge in Inghilterra.[4]
