Arthur Gore ha battuto nella finale del torneo preliminare Herbert Roper-Barrett per 6-3, 6-2, 4-6, 6-3, 6-4. Avrebbe dovuto sfidare nel Challenge Round il detentore del titolo Norman Brookes che però ha deciso di non difenderlo.

È il secondo titolo in carriera per Gore a Wimbledon.
