Ethel Larcombe ha vinto il torneo preliminare superando in finale Elizabeth Ryan per 6-3, 6-2, ha poi sfidato nel Challenge Round la detentrice del titolo Dorothea Lambert Chambers che ha avuto la meglio con il punteggio di 7-5, 6-4.[1][2]

Chambers ha stabilito il nuovo record di successi a Wimbledon con i sette titoli in nove finali disputate.[3]
