thank you for your e-mail message. You can add the photos on the Wikipedia page about the hyperbass flute and the photos could be re-used by anyone. Mr. Alessandro Grego made the photos and he made the photos in Florence on 2005. The material of the flute is plastic (PVC) and wood. It has holes. The person who built this instrument is Francesco Romei.

Best regards, Luisella Botteon

Dear Luisella,

Many thanks for your email and photos!

May I have your permission to add the photo on the Wikipedia page about the hyperbass flute (in which Mr. Fabbriciani is mentioned):

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hyperbass_flute

In order for photos to be used on Wikipedia, the owner of the photo, Wikipedia asks that the owner of the photo agree that the photo may be re-used by anyone who finds the photo for any purpose (including educational, commercial, or any other use), although credit would be given to the photographer. So it is treated something like a publicity or promotional photo. If that is okay with you, would you please let me know? I think it would bring Mr. Fabbriciani a lot of interest for his work, as many people are curious about this instrument.

If you could tell me also the following:

  • who took the photo
  • where and when the photo was taken
  • what is the flute made out of (is it metal or plastic), and does it have keys or just holes?
  • what is the name of the person who built this instrument

Many thanks, again, and best regards,

--
