Dorothea Lambert Chambers ha vinto il torneo preliminare superando in finale Elizabeth Ryan per 6-2, 6-1, ha poi affrontato nel Challenge Round la detentrice del titolo Suzanne Lenglen che ha avuto la meglio con il punteggio di 6-3, 6-0.[1][2]
