La European Rugby Champions Cup 2015-16 fu la 21ª edizione della coppa d'Europa per squadre di club di rugby a 15 espressione delle federazioni europee di Inghilterra, Francia, Galles, Irlanda, Scozia e Italia.
Squadre partecipanti modifica
Le 20 squadre del torneo provengono dai campionati Top 14, English Premiership e Pro12, secondo il seguente criterio:
- le 6 squadre meglio classificate nella English Premiership.
- le 6 squadre meglio classificate nel Top 14.
- la migliore squadra classificata per ciascuna nazione del Pro12.
- le 3 squadre meglio classificate nel Pro12 tra quelle non qualificate secondo il criterio precedente.
- la vincente dello spareggio tra le prime non classificate dei tre tornei. Se un club dell'English Premiership vince la European Rugby Challenge Cup 2014-2015 e non si è ancora qualificato per la Champions Cup, prenderà il posto della prima non classificata di quel torneo[1].
