The New Seekers

I New Seekers sono una band britannica di musica folk, folk rock, pop e country fondata nel 1969 dall'australiano Keith Potger dopo lo scioglimento del suo gruppo, i Seekers. L'idea era quella di lanciare la nuova band tra quello stesso pubblico che aveva apprezzato i Seekers, sebbene la musica del nuovo gruppo fosse anche aperta alle influenze dell'hard rock e del folk.

Il gruppo raggiunse il successo mondiale nei primi anni settanta, in particolare nel 1971, con la pubblicazione del singolo I'd Like to Teach the World to Sing (In Perfect Harmony) insieme agli Hillside Singers, colonna sonora degli spot Coca-Cola per oltre dieci anni.
