Robert Ryman
artista statunitense
Robert Ryman (Nashville, 30 maggio 1930 – New York, 8 febbraio 2019) è stato un artista statunitense legato al minimalismo, e all'arte concettuale.
La gran parte dei suoi dipinti sono caratterizzati da pennellate bianche su tele quadrate. Nel 1992, una grande retrospettiva fu organizzata al Museum of Modern Art e alla Tate Gallery. Ryman fu membro dell'American Academy of Arts and Letters dal 1994.
