Based on several factors, this shorter list of languages is expected to be more relevant for them and valuable for finding similar content in a language known to them. From today onwards, compact language links have been enabled as the default listing of interlanguage links on this wiki. However, using the button at the bottom, you will be able to see a longer list of all the languages the article has been written in. Please note, languages are displayed in the list as per individual user's preference and will improve as you navigate between articles in different languages. La principale ragione per tale modifica è quella di evitare confusione fra i nuovi utenti. Svariate ricerche hanno rilevato come alcuni nuovi utenti fossero convinti che il bottone [https://translatewiki.net/w/i.php?title=Special:Translations&namespace=8&message=Savearticle “<bdi>{{int:Savearticle}}</bdi>”] avrebbe salvato una copia della nuova pagina accessibile solo attraverso i loro account, invece di pubblicare il testo sul web. È importante che questa parte dell'interfaccia utente sia chiara, alla luce del fatto che è difficile rimuovere le informazioni inserite una volta pubblicate. ::::::io lo leggo in modo diverso: ci sono le diverse Community che compongono l'universo wiki, c'è una traccia di quale e quanto sia l'impegno che si profonde da centinaia di contesti diversi. C'è una sorta di partecipazione, ci siamo tutti in quella schermata, o quasi. Il problema è la selezione. Ma chi di noi si farebbe dire che un qualsiasi altro Progetto fratello merita più di noi di stare lì? e in base a cosa? alla qualità delle voci? e chi la certifica? chi è che parla così tante lingue, tutte le lingue di Wikipedia, da poter comparare? Non abbiamo altro criterio possibile, e dobbiamo accettarlo, che certi numeri di database. Poi noi sappiamo bene che sono numeri e che potremmo considerarli in un certo modo, ma quei numeri almeno ci sono e sono oggettivi. Vorremmo esserci tutti, ma non si può. Intanto nella figura d'insieme c'è l'idea di Comunità. Comunità viva che pian piano troverà una soluzione migliore lavorandoci sopra. Grazie anzitutto per i pareri alla mia proposta, in massima parte azzeccati.<br />
L'idea del mappamondo "mi piacerebbe", ma come è stato fatto giustamente notare andrebbe incontro a tante problematiche.<br />
Soffermandoci sul fattibile, penso che si potrebbe comunque indicare una lista divisa per zone geografiche, che potrebbero essere anche i continenti o le nazioni (senza quindi scendere troppo nel particolare) dove ciascuna lingua sia citata nella zone geografiche dove è più parlata e dove è ufficiale. Nel caso di lingue che sono scomparse e quelle che non hanno una particolare zona (come l'esperanto) si potrebbero creare delle liste a parte, per cui si avrebbero:
* lingue europee
* lingue asiatiche
* lingue africane
* lingue americane
* lingue dell'Oceania
* lingue senza localizzazione
* lingue scomparse.
A parte questa classificazione "geografica", nella proposta iniziale dicevo inoltre di fare non una sola classificazione, bensì tante categorizzazioni, in modo tale che l'utente possa scegliere da sé quale classificazione fa al caso suo (geografica, per numero di voci, per numero di parlanti, per grandezza del database, dalla più antica alla più moderna, ecc.)<br />

I try to publish my research for an Italian diplomat who worked ( 1889 - 1900), set up family and spend the last years of his life in Bulgaria.
Unfortunately, my two attempts were deleted by the Bulgarian wiki administrators due to the English language of the pages created.
I don't speak Italian but the sources of Alessandro Durando's bigraphy are mostly in Italian and it is very likely to be supported by Italian authors.
 
So, what would you advice me to do -
to create a new article in Bulgarian or ...?

This movement strategy discussion will focus on the future of our movement: where we want to go together, and what we want to achieve. We hope to design an inclusive process that makes space for everyone: editors, community leaders, affiliates, developers, readers, donors, technology platforms, institutional partners, and people we have yet to reach. My wife, daughter, and I have visited the village and have stayed with my cousins of the Fruner family there. During our most recent visit in September 2002, our family held a reunion event for about 100 members from northern Italy and Germany. A photo with a brief caption about that event were later published in the ''Trentino Emigrazione'' magazine.
 
I would like to help in some way to develop an English-language Wikipedia page about Ballino so that my American family members who cannot read Italian can enjoy learning about their ancestral village. For example they think they have the "right" to remove everything they want. That's not permitted in the case of a content-related or behavior-related communication but it is usually accepted for a welcome message.

I was working on a few articles on Croatian/Slovene/Bosnian/Montenegrin soccer teams on another wiki, and I noticed that there was a mix of capitalization on Italian Wikipedia. For example, you guys have [[Nogometni Klub Karlovac]], [[Nogometni Klub Maribor]], [[Fudbalski Klub Borac Banja Luka]], [[Fudbalski Klub Velež Mostar]], etc., but also [[Nogometni klub Istra]], [[Nogometni klub Lučko]], [[Fudbalski klub Kolubara]], [[Fudbalski klub Grbalj]], etc.. The word "klub" (''club'', ''team'') should ''not'' be capitalized. What kind of templates? Specifically templates that notify readers and contributors about issues with the content of an article – the text and information in the article. Right now these notifications are hidden behind a link under the title of an article. We will format templates like these (mostly those that use Template:Ambox or message box templates in general) to show a short summary under the page title.
