Giovanni Battista Belzoni: differenze tra le versioni

La principale fonte di notizie autobiografiche fu il giovane irlandese James Curtis, la persone che trascorse più tempo coi Belzoni, assunto come inserviente domestico e [[dragomanno|interprete]] di lingue orientali, che seguì Belzoni dalla casa di Londra dove viveva, in Egitto, in Etiopia (riproduzione della tomba di [[Seti I]]), per ritornare in patria<ref name= Waanders />.

 

Il cognome da nubile e il luogo di nascita di Sarah non sono ad oggi accertati, ma Curtis conferma che era nativa di [[Bristol]], e che si sposò molto giovane<ref>ray (Ed.), "A note respecting the operations and discoveries of Belzoni in Nubia.
