Modifiche alle regole modifica

La MLB ha deciso di modificare le norme che regolano la velocità delle partite, tra cui le pause tra un inning e l'altro, in modo da renderle uguali alla durata delle pubblicità dei canali che trasmettono le partite, e le visite al monte da parte degli allenatori, che sono passate a sei visite per nove inning, con l'aggiunta di una visita per ogni extra-inning giocato.[15]
