L'uscita dell'album è stata anticipata dal singolo Rock 'n Roll Is the Answer pubblicato il 21 aprile 2012[4].
Tutte le canzoni dell'album sono state scritte da Joey Ramone[1]. A causa di un problema sull'ultimo minuto della registrazione, due canzoni sono state rimosse[5].
Alla realizzazione dell'album hanno collaborato anche Joan Jett[6], Steven Van Zandt[6], Richie Ramone[6], Mickey Leigh (fratello di Joey Ramone)[6], Bun E. Carlos[6], Dennis Diken[6], Richie Stotts[6], Lenny Kaye[6], Holly Beth Vincent[6], Al Maddy[6], Kenny Laguna[6], Arno Hecht[6], Dick Manitoba[6] e Andy Shernoff[6].
Le tracce 10 e 15, Merry Christmas (I Don't Want to Fight Tonight) e Life's a Gas, sono reincisioni di brani già pubblicati dai Ramones negli album Brain Drain e ¡Adios Amigos!.
Il 23 novembre 2012 è stata pubblicata una versione deluxe del disco in tiratura limitata di 500 copie contenente anche un vinile e un DVD con circa 40 minuti di materiale[7] con interviste a personaggi quali Elvis Costello, Kirk Hammett, Debbie Harry, Anthony Kiedis e Joe Strummer[8].
