American Hockey League 1988-1989

La stagione 1988-1989 è stata la 53ª edizione della American Hockey League, la più importante lega minore nordamericana di hockey su ghiaccio. Vennero aboliti dopo due anni gli overtime e si ritornò ad assegnare un punto per il pareggio. La stagione vide al via quattordici formazioni e al termine dei playoff gli Adirondack Red Wings conquistarono la loro terza Calder Cup sconfiggendo i New Haven Nighthawks 4-1.
