Dopo la stagione i Packers furono rimossi dalla lega, dopo che ebbe che avevano utilizzato sotto falso nome giocatori di Notre Dame durante l'annate. Green Bay avrebbe fatto ritorno nella NFL un anno dopo come "nuova franchigia".[2]
