Department of the Navy. 3 May 1972</ref>. Il giorno seguente si fermarono le attività del Detachment 4 e il 23 febbraio, a Cà Mau, fu la volta del Detachment 3. Il Detachment 2 concluse le operazioni il 26 febbraio sulla base di Nhà Bè mentre il 2 marzo smise di operare il Detachment 9, che aveva sede sulla base aerea di Binh Thuy.
