modificaNo pb, but I suggest to use the localised interface editing on the other wikis. Honestly create a page about yourself on many wikis is itself self-promotional...--Vito (msg) 20:27, 18 feb 2012 (CET)
- What's the "localised interface"? And the only "Wim Crusio" bio that I have created before this one is the one on the "Afrikaans" wiki. That's not really "many", is it? :-) And I don't really see what is promotional about this stub, which only gives a minimum of information.--Guillaume2303 (msg) 20:33, 18 feb 2012 (CET)
- The localised interface means setting a different language on your preferences. Actually it's not only af.wiki, but also de.wiki and maybe fr and en. The promotional aspect consist in a simple consideration: would have it/af/de pages been created without your personal intervention?--Vito (msg) 20:40, 18 feb 2012 (CET)
- You're right, I forgot about the de one. I have edited the other ones in minor respects, but did not create them. Anyway, I won't edit this article here any further. Feel free to delete it if you really think it is promotional. I created these stubs after Solus ipse created a Polish one. Perhaps I shouldn't have done that, but it was kind of amusing to figure out how to do it in a very different language. I have changed the interface language now, which is indeed much easier (but also less fun... :-) --Guillaume2303 (msg) 20:50, 18 feb 2012 (CET)
- Oh you cannot even figure (unless you check it by yourself) how weird may be wikipedia's interface on indic wikis. But nevermind I'll deal with that page later, honestly I cannot evaluate the relevance (which definitely differs from "merit") but avoiding writing about ourself is a best practice. See you! --Vito (msg) 20:58, 18 feb 2012 (CET)

- "the only "Wim Crusio" bio that I have created before this one is the one on the "Afrikaans" wiki": this name it's just a coincidence? --Soprano71 20:52, 18 feb 2012 (CET)
- As I just wrote above in response to Vituzzu, I forgot about the de one. I apologize for that. It should be evident that I simply forgot: I edited under my regular ID, there's absolutely no effort to hide anything. I guess I assumed this wiki would be more like the English one (a neutral stub like I created here would never be deleted as promotional there, although it would be evaluated against the notability guidelines there). Ciao. --Guillaume2303 (msg) 21:11, 18 feb 2012 (CET)
- It was a edit confliction between your answer and my question, no problem about this aspect --Soprano71 16:23, 19 feb 2012 (CET)
This page is not at your "use": the discussion page (the policies are here) must remain visible: "It is customary to periodically archive old discussions on a talk page when that page becomes too large"(here). This page it's not your email space, for example, where you can make everything with your messages, but a space of Wikipedia, thanks --Soprano71 16:20, 19 feb 2012 (CET)
- It would be so much easier if yu would provide an explanation the first time you revert. I now understand that the Italian WP does not allow removal of comments from a talk page, something that the English Wikipedia expressly allows. I will create an archive and properly archive discussions. Grazie. --Guillaume2303 (msg) 17:23, 19 feb 2012 (CET)
