La parte più elaborata e spettacolare di queste esibizioni sono però gli effetti speciali: alla fine della canzone ''On The Run'', un aereo in scala 1:1, sostenuto da cavi, attraversa la platea e si schianta a lato del palco in una gigantesca esplosione di luci. Durante l'assolo di ''[[Comfortably Numb]]'', invece, una sfera ricoperta di specchi, calata al centro dell'arena, viene illuminata da potenti fari da 12 chilo[[watt]] l'uno, cosicché il riflesso illumina tutta la platea, mentre essa si apre fino a formare un fiore. Pure rilevante è l'ampia diffusione delle [[tribute band]] del gruppo (solo in Italia se ne contano oltre duecento<ref>{{cita web|http://www.floydiani.it/cover-tributi|Cover & Tributi|14 aprile 2021}}</ref>). Tra le più importanti ricordiamo i [[Brit Floyd]], [[The Machine (gruppo musicale)|The Machine]], [[The Australian Pink Floyd Show]] e in particolare i [[Nick Mason's Saucerful of Secrets]], che hanno pubblicato [[Live at the Roundhouse (Nick Mason's Saucerful of Secrets)|un album]] come ''cover band'' e si sono in seguito affermati come [[supergruppo (musica)|supergruppo]].
Numerosi sono poi i gruppi che hanno realizzato un tributo ai Pink Floyd.
