:::: I just want to add something: the french template uses 2 formats to run the link: 1) <nowiki>{{CAS|1|2|3|4|5}}</nowiki> checks the validity of the CAS number and links to the toolserver , 2) <nowiki>{{CAS|12-34-5}}</nowiki> only links to the toolserver. So it is easy to modify your data by using a bot. If you want to use this tool, please get in touch with [[:de:Magnus]] in order to install a [[:en:Template:CasTemplate]] for the italian wiki (theoretically just by copy-paste the english code and by changing the value language=it in [[:Template:CAS]] it will works). By creating such a template you can add the database you want without change anything on the toolserver. For example the french wikki adds 3-4 new links (see [[:fr:Modèle:CasTemplate]]). If someone can check the code of Magnus on the toolserver to see where is the problem or to contact Magnus it will a good thing.
