Edmond Huszar (born July 12, 1989 in London, Ontario, Canada), better known by his stage name OVERWERK is a Canadian DJ, music producer and graphic designer.
Active since 2010, her music is often described as electro house or complextro music. According to LA Weekly, his music combines "dramatic and orchestral" passages with "jagged synths and deep bass lines" 1. Since 2012, he has released 4 EPs and several singles, which he himself designed the covers. His single Exist, released in 2014, received a score of 10/10 by Beatsmedia [ref. necessary], and Vibe Magazine named it in the "Top 10 Music Outputs of the Dance Category Week" 2,3.
OVERWERK is also known for his remix of sounds like Rather Be from Clean Bandit. He has toured Canada, Europe, and the United States, performing for the first time with artists such as Avicii4, and has been present at many festivals. In 2014, he won the New Canadian Music Vista Prize5 and his sounds appear regularly in commercials for brands such as GoPro6, Gucci, Lamborghini, Chrysler, Vogue magazine, and Fortune magazine. He also composed the song Pressure for the video game The Sims 4.
