Piccolissima osservazione modifica

Ciao. Quando effettui una modifica ad una voce e la salvi, ti dispiacerebbe compilare il campo oggetto in italiano e non in inglese? grazie mille --Rago (msg) 14:48, 5 ago 2014 (CEST)Rispondi

Hi. Sorry. I think you were italian ;-) --Rago (msg) 07:05, 6 ago 2014 (CEST)Rispondi

Hello, the fact that "nobody on italian Wiki commented so far", is not a good reason to conclude "nothing said, nothing against". This is not the way things work on it.wiki. By the way, there's a specific dedicated discussion on the Project page: rather than going bold with your modification, you'd better solicite an answer there. The article "Candia" is already marked with a notice asking for documental sources. In case of a suspect (not evident) hoax, on it.wiki the correct procedure is not to empty the article (as you did), but rather proposing it for deletion, with sound arguments supporting or demonstrating that it's an hoax (without removing the contents). This way, the community may better focus on the contents and in that case, if after a week none is opposing the proposal for deletion, the article could be deleted. You've been a registered user on it.wiki since long, so you're eligible for opening such kind of procedure. --L736El'adminalcolico 17:34, 4 set 2014 (CEST)Rispondi

Thanks for the answer. The problem is that there exists a real "Candia family" (though at the verge of notability), so I'm not sure that deletion is a solution here (mark that i didn't simply blank the page as you hint, i left what was in the given "bibliographia" and removed the unsourced content). Now as a non-Italian speaker i can't seriously open a proposal of deletion argumented in Italian; i'm not a contributor here, i only act when some error on wiki.it regarding Italian topics might contaminate other wikis through translation. Now, what can we do? Either 1)you overlook the fact that there was no proper formal regular deletion discussion and you let the article in his skeletal (but sourced) form, or 2) you (as an Italian contributor) have the moral duty to take a deeper look at the article in its full form (or better the english one, with the full brood including "Enrico Pescatore de Candia", Pedro de Candia e tutti quanti...), check its so-called "Bibliografia", and wonder if it is really verosimile that so many people (including the Borgia, Norman nobles, Savoyards nobles, the Greek royal family, one conquistador, one genoese admiral, one famous theologian, one Napolitan-Sardinian family annoblished in the 18th c., some Jewish Cretan family (sic), Simonetta Vespucci, Alfonso IV di Ribagorza, the Brienne family/[1] etc) are from the same family, but that no one has ever noticed it before 2007 on wikipedia and that their real family name of "Candia" is never to be found in their biographies. Or 3) I open a deletion request, but exceptionally in English or French. I know these are not the cleanest and more proper methods to handle this, but what other choice is there? Regards.--Phso2 (msg) 18:49, 4 set 2014 (CEST)Rispondi
So, what is your advice? What do you think? I can't open a proposal for deletion in Italian.--Phso2 (msg) 22:12, 6 set 2014 (CEST)Rispondi

Wikimedia Italia

Gentile Phso2,

Grazie ancora e a presto,
