I am coming from the Wikimedia Commons with an issue that will affect the users of it.wikipedia mostly. The discussion is about the Italian flag SVG image. An Italian user has told us about official Pantone colors and suggest what RGB colors to use, based on a suggestion by en:Pantone. I wanted to bring the discussion to here to prevent another edit war on 3 projects (it.wikipedia, commons and en.wikipedia). The current image is at Image:Flag of Italy.svg and the proposed image is at Image:Flag of Italy test.svg. The discussion is at commons:Image_talk:Flag_of_Italy.svg#2007_Update. Note, Utente:Oscar on IRC has helped me on the issue in the it.wikipedia channel, but I could not add this to the Village Pump (Bar) due to changing in the days. Zscout370 10:20, 9 giu 2007 (CEST)

- @Bouncey: colors are rendered differently on paper vs. screen. what looks "greyish" might look much more "white" on paper, or on a different background. Try opening the svg file directly and I believe you won't be able to distinguish greyish and white --bonz che c'è? 16:26, 9 giu 2007 (CEST)

- Why this maniacal bitterness about our flag? I see only a greish-yellowish central band. Moreover also green and red are rendered too much differently from the original SVG image to be considered adequate. --F l a n k e r ✉ 23:11, 10 giu 2007 (CEST)

Sinceramente non ho tutto questo tempo ora... ma se dico che a occhio e croce pare una crociata personale anti-bianco-simplex di un tale Reisio e di un paio di compari... si configura come attacco personale? - Non so se trolleggino, hanno però una sicumera non indifferente, anzi tanto più grande quanto più minuscola è la verosimiglianza della loro proposta: l'unica è "inondarli" di risposte negative su commons.--MTOsound 14:36, 11 giu 2007 (CEST)
