Suo padre è originario della Norvegia e sua madre proviene dal Vietnam[2]. Kira ha legalmente cambiato il suo nome. Secondo il sito IAFD, la sua carriera di attrice si è svolta negli anni dal 1999 al 2007[1].

Kira, prima di diventare un'attrice per adulti, lavorava come ballerina di lap-dance. Firmò poi un contratto per la Vivid Video nel 1999, e debuttò nel suo primo film intitolato Nurses. Inoltre, è stata Penthouse Pet of the Month for December 2002 ed è stata nella copertina del numero di Playboy del marzo 2002.

Ha anche contribuito alla scrittura del libro How to Have a XXX Sex Life: The Ultimate Vivid Guide, pubblicato nel 2004. Kira è stata anche inclusa tra le trenta pornostar nel libro XXX 30 Porn-Star Portraits, di Timothy Greenfield-Sanders. Kira è stata sotto contratto esclusivo con la Vivid Video dal 1999 al 2005.
