Tutte le motociclette in competizione sono equipaggiate con pneumatici forniti dalla Pirelli. Contestualmente alla classifica mondiale, vi sono alcuni piloti (indicati in tabella come piloti della "classe IND") che concorrono per il trofeo indipendenti (vi partecipano infatti i piloti dei team che non sono di diretta emanazione di una casa motociclistica).
