La AFI's 100 Years... 100 Songs è una lista delle cento migliori canzoni di sempre tratte da film statunitensi, stilata nel 2004 dall'American Film Institute per la serie AFI 100 Years... series.
E' stata resa nota al pubblico in uno speciale della CBS presentato da John Travolta che appare in due film citati dalla lista: La febbre del sabato sera e Grease.
I film che compaiono più volte nella lista sono Cantando sotto la pioggia, Tutti insieme appassionatamente e West Side Story con 3 apparizioni ciascuno, seguiti da Il mago di Oz, È nata una stella (nella versione del 1937 e nella versione del 1954), Funny Girl e Meet Me in St. Louis con 2 apparizioni.

61 of the songs were introduced in or written for the movies cited. Twenty-two are from Broadway productions, four had been used in earlier movies, and 12 had been performed separately from the movie. One, "Summertime" (#52), is from an opera - Porgy and Bess. Four entries are from animated films, all of which were produced by the Walt Disney Studios (#7, #19, #62 and #99).
Judy Garland has 5 entries on the list (#76, #61, #26, #11, and #1 with "Over the Rainbow"). She is the most represented singer. Julie Andrews (#88, #64, #36 and # 10) and Barbra Streisand (#46, #16, #13 and #8) tied for second place with four entries each.

- Only four songs from animated films has appeared on the list, and all of it was made by Disney. The highest entry was "When You Wish Upon a Star" from Pinocchio, which peaked at #7. Another song made in Top 20 was "Some Day My Prince Will Come" from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, which peaked at #19. Two other songs come from the Disney Renaissance, it was "Beauty and the Beast" from Disney's Oscar Best Picture nominated Beauty and the Beast which peaked at #62, and the last was "Hakuna Matata" from The Lion King which peaked at #99.
